Composition Sample for Level One-B Students

Dear Pen Pal,

My name’s Gustavo Garcia. I’m a student in Level One B at the Colombo in Barranquilla and an Industrial Engineering student at the Universidad Autonoma. I’m in seventh semester. I’m tall (about seven feet), my hair and eyes are black too. My friends call me Tavo. Patricia is my girlfriend.

I live with my mother, my father and my grandmother. We always have breakfast together and we usually watch the news programs in the evening together.

Rosario is my mother. She is a wonderful woman and a great teacher. She teaches math in a high school in Puerto Colombia. She loves her family and she has a lot of friends. She almost never practices sports, but she often walks. Ah! She loves dancing Salsa and Porros.

Gustavo is my father. He is a good man and a good teacher too. He teaches math in a high school in Las Nieves neighborhood. he loves his family too, but he doesn’t have a lot of friends. Sometimes he plays soccer with his students and other teachers. I almost always play with them too. My father doesn’t drink, but he is a happy man. I don’t drink either.

Hilda is my grandmother. We lover her very much. She is a sweet woman. She is a widow. She hates soap operas, but she loves music on the radio. She usually cooks breakfast and lunch. Her food is delicious and Emisora Atlantico is her favorite radio station (she is in love with Jorge Cura).

Eileen is my sister. She is 15 years old. She is a high school student. She doesn’t have a boyfriend yet, but she has a lot of friends. She loves music and she usually goes out with my parents or her friends. She is a good sister; she is also very smart and very beautiful.

My teacher is Juan Pacheco. He is very friendly and crazy, but he’s a good teacher. He doesn’t come late to class, he always comes early. He loves his job and his students.
